Discover some ways to “Get Smaller” with Good Shepherd!

  • Classes exist for us to grow in our faith and build relationships on Sundays. These classes journey through various curriculums, books, or topics. Find a class during the hour you don’t attend worship!

  • Bible studies are smaller groups that meet during the week simply to study God’s Word.

  • Small groups exist to build healthy community-driven relationships to drive spiritual growth and local ministry. They differ from Bible Studies in the sense that they are relationship-focused.

  • These groups exist to guide us through specific events or needs in our life and last for a semester. Some examples include Financial Peace University, ReEngage, GriefShare, and DivorceCare.

  • Micro Groups are high-commitment, transformational groups of 2-5 people of the same gender who come together to help one another grow in their discipleship, by being formed in community and spiritual friendship. Generally, Micro Groups come together weekly to encounter the presence, leading and power of the Holy Spirit. They are a safe place to ‘get real’ about life and are marked by encouragement, support, and friendship.

  • A one-on-one discipling relationship is a Christ-centered partnership where one who is called and equipped invests in the spiritual growth of another. Its purpose is to help individuals deepen their relationship with Christ and grow more like Him in character, obedience, and mission. This occurs through regular meetings with intentional conversation, prayer, thoughtful questions, and biblical guidance. The discipler encourages the other, celebrates their growth, and models godly character and faith in action. The relationship fosters accountability, a deeper love for God, a heart for service, and embodies the biblical mandate to “make disciples of all nations.”
