Confirmation Class at Good Shepherd is designed for our 7th grade students and is held during the 9:15am Sunday School hour and will begin again in the Fall of 2017. Confirmation is a year-long journey where the students begin to understand and affirm their Christian beliefs and claim their place in the life of the church. At the end of the Confirmation year, the students are welcomed as active, acting members of the Good Shepherd Faith family. If you will have a 7th grader in the 2017-2018 school year, and are are interested in your student joining the Confirmation Class this Fall, please contact Heather Turquette at heathert@goodchurch.us.

Are you interested in taking your spiritual life to a deeper level? Are you interested in being a part of a group that will help hold each other accountable to living each day for the glory and honor of God? Are you interested in being a part of a group that will share with you in your joys and encourage and support you in your struggles? If you are in High School and would like more information about Accountability Groups, please see Jeff or email jeffd@goodchurch.us and we'll get you plugged into a group!

We love getting to know your kids, and it is our desire to develop a strong relationship with each of them that goes far beyond the walls of the church. To do that, we like visiting with students at school during their lunch period on Wednesdays. Cy-Fair ISD has created a system to ensure safety at their schools which requires that parents fill out a permission slip to allow the Youth Directors to visit your child during lunch. Unless we have a permission slip on file with the school, we are not allowed to visit with them. If your student is interested in having us visit, please fill out the permission slip and return to the youth office. Click on Lunch Lady image for the form.
